WHAT IS THIS? Dancers may be interested in participating in additional competitive dances beyond their teams. These smaller groups would not replace a team. For example, if you are selected for a small jazz group, you would be required to stay on your current jazz team (mini, jr, int. or sr.) Small groups will be cast by heads of departments and directors. Only dancers that have expressed interest will be considered. Small groups will be formed based on skill level, commitment, consistency, attendance, positive attitude, and growth mindset. Being interested in a small group does not guarantee you will be invited to a small group.

Audition fee will apply to three groups. 1) Dancers that are new to PCPA 2) Current PCPA dancers that are new to teams 3) Current team dancers that are auditioning for a new style they were not in the previous season. If you are remaining in the same style but auditioning for a new level you will not be billed.

Families new to PCPA - We will create an account for you and send you a statement. Current Families - We will use your preferred billing method. All payments are due in advance of auditions to secure your spot.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK I understand that dance, acrobatics, fitness activities, rehearsals, camps, performances, and related activities involve inherent risks including but not limited to falls, collisions, physical exertion, equipment use, sprains, fractures, illness, permanent injury, and in rare cases, death. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in studio activities, whether occurring on-site, off-site (including preschools, performance venues, competitions, or special events), in common areas, parking lots, restrooms, or surrounding facilities. I acknowledge that participants may use equipment, props, floors, mirrors, sound systems, and other facility features that carry inherent risks. I represent that my child (or I) am physically fit to participate and have no medical condition that would prevent safe participation. I agree to inform the studio of any medical concerns. I understand that Small Fry Dance Club LLC does not provide medical insurance for participants. WAIVER AND RELEASE To the fullest extent permitted by California law, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Small Fry Dance Club LLC, its owners, officers, employees, instructors, contractors, landlords, affiliates, and agents from any and all claims, demands, damages, causes of action, or liability arising out of or related to participation in studio activities or use of the facility. This release includes claims arising from ordinary negligence but does not apply to gross negligence or willful misconduct. INDEMNIFICATION I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Small Fry Dance Club LLC from any claims, damages, attorney fees, or expenses arising out of my or my child’s participation in studio activities, including claims brought by or on behalf of a minor participant. SUPERVISION & RESPONSIBILITY I understand that supervision is provided only during scheduled class time. The studio is not responsible for children before or after class, in restrooms, hallways, parking lots, or common areas. Parents/guardians are responsible for the safety and supervision of their child outside scheduled class time. PROPERTY DAMAGE I agree to be financially responsible for any damage to studio property caused by myself or my child beyond normal wear and tear. PHOTO & MEDIA RELEASE I grant permission for Small Fry Dance Club LLC to use photographs and video recordings of participants for promotional, marketing, and educational purposes without compensation. Names will not be used without separate consent. COMMUNICABLE DISEASE ACKNOWLEDGMENT I acknowledge the inherent risk of exposure to communicable illnesses in any group activity setting and voluntarily assume that risk.
